The new online ordering system to renew tags, manufactured home decals, boat registrations and in October, business licenses will be www.altags.com. Registrants needing to renew their license plate decals after 11:00pm on April 30, 2020, will need to access the online renewal for www.altags.com

Also, with this new system integration, registrants will now be able not only renew their license plates, but also apply license plates by submitting documents on their own! Registrants who have purchased a vehicle from an Alabama dealer or have a title application that was done by a lienholder can register online by using www.easytagal.com Due to high volume of new car sales, registrants can avoid long lines and backlog in the local registration offices! Questions regarding the new system should be directed to 205-263-4599. There is a $10.00 fee for transferring titles using this online system.
