In an effort to streamline data systems, Alabama Department of Revenue will be upgrading systems in all counties December 8 through 10. This will mean that some services will be unavailable during this time. Registrants will not be able to apply for titles or surety bonds, order personalize tags, or update the mandatory liability insurance information. In the Calhoun County Commissioner of Licenses Offices these services will be limited as well. Procedures that are completed through the Alabama Department of Revenue system MVTRIP will all be suspended at this time.
Registration renewals for expired license plates can be completed with physical ( or digital) proof of insurance, manufactured home renewals, boat renewals, business license and driver licenses will be able to be renewed on Friday, December 8, in the Calhoun County Offices to which these services apply.
